Dr. Bryan Cook is a Professor in the Special Education Program at the University of Virginia. He is former President of the Council for Exceptional Children’s (CEC’s) Division for Research; chaired the working group that developed CEC’s Standards for Evidence-Based Practices in Special Education; and co-directs the Special Education Research Accelerator, a platform for crowdsourcing research in special education. His interests include evidence-based practices, the research-to-practice gap in special education, and open-science practices.
